Privacy
Effective 18 August 2026
This website
- No cookies. Nothing is stored on your device — no cookies, no local storage. There is nothing here to consent to, and nothing that follows you to another site.
- The pages are static files. Visits are counted using PostHog, an analytics service we send data to in the United States: which page was opened, where the link came from, whether the install button was pressed, and the browser, device type and approximate country your request came from. Your IP address reaches PostHog as part of that request; it is what the approximate country is derived from.
- Because nothing is stored on your device, one visit cannot be linked to the next — two pages read in a row look like two strangers.
- If you email us, your address and what you write are used only to reply to you. No lists are sold, shared, or rented — ever.
The StockUnison app
- To sync inventory, the app reads products, inventory levels, and locations of the Shopify stores you connect, via Shopify's API and with the permissions Shopify shows you at install.
- It stores what the sync needs: the pairing between your stores, SKU match results, inventory quantities involved in syncs, and a log of every sync decision (visible to you in the app).
- It also sends product analytics to PostHog, identified by your
.myshopify.comstore domain: which screens were opened, events such as connecting a store, going live, or running a match, the resulting counts (how many SKUs matched or were ambiguous — never the SKUs themselves), and any errors. Unlike this website, the app stores a small identifier in your browser's local storage so those events belong to one session. - It does not read or store your customers' personal data.
- It never sells or shares your data with anyone.
- Uninstalling the app dissolves the store pairing and deletes its sessions automatically. For full deletion of remaining sync history, email us and it's done.
